I am fascinated by craftsmanship and I already did two internships as a carpenter during my school time. I became aware of Walbert-Schmitz when we did a project day at school looking at different companies in Aachen. Here I found everything exciting and interesting. During the apprenticeship you often see cool things, which are not yet on the market.
We, as employees, are offered many after-work activities. I like the dragon boat race and summer party especially because you get to chat to colleagues from all departments. Private friendships have already developed from this. There are regular apprentice projects at WS, where all apprentices work on an inter-departmental project together. Seeing the results and how the colleagues embrace it is great.
